CHAPTER 1: THE SILENCE AFTER THE ROAR

The supercar’s engine thunder faded into a steady, powerful purr.

No one moved.

Not the stunned mechanics. Not the furious millionaire. Not even the boy standing beside the open hood, his small frame still and calm as if nothing unusual had happened.

The garage felt smaller now—like the air itself had been rearranged.

The millionaire finally broke the silence.

“…What did you do?”

His voice wasn’t angry anymore. It was uncertain. Controlled, but shaken.

The boy wiped his hands on an old rag lying on the workbench.

“Your ECU was locked in safe mode. Someone tried to fix it before and miswired the ignition sync. I reset the timing loop.”

A mechanic scoffed nervously. “That’s… not something a kid says.”

The boy didn’t respond. He just looked back at the engine, as if it was more honest than the people around it.

The millionaire stepped closer, eyes narrowing—not in rage this time, but curiosity.

“Who taught you that?”

A pause.

The boy hesitated for the first time.

Then quietly: “No one.”

The answer should’ve sounded like a lie.

But somehow… it didn’t.

Outside, rain began to fall against the glass walls of the garage.

And for the first time, the millionaire didn’t look at his supercar.

He looked at the boy.
