CHAPTER 3: THE FALL

By noon, Andrew’s mansion wasn’t his anymore.
Legal teams flooded the property. Locks changed. Assets cataloged. Staff reassigned.
Margaret screamed as movers carefully removed her “family heirlooms.”
“You can’t take those! They’re mine!”
A lawyer handed her a document.
“They were collateral,” he said flatly. “Registered under Escalante Holdings.”
Brenda? She didn’t scream.
She ran.
But not before posting one last desperate message:
“I had no idea. He lied to me too.”
No one believed her.
Andrew stood in the middle of the empty foyer—the same place he had slapped Mariana.
Only now, there was no audience.
No power.
May you like
No illusion.
Just echoes.
