Marcus made the first move.
At noon, Victor received a video.
Emily—bound to a chair.
Bleeding.
Unconscious.
Victor’s expression didn’t change.
“Trace it,” he said.
“Already did,” Dominic replied. “It’s a ghost signal.”
Victor watched the video again.
Then smiled.
“That’s not Emily.”
Dominic blinked. “What?”
Victor rewound. “The scar on her wrist. It’s missing.”
A setup.
A distraction.
Marcus wanted Victor off balance.
Instead, Victor moved first.
Within the hour, three of Marcus’s hidden safehouses were raided. By nightfall, one of his closest men was captured.
And he talked.
Marcus wasn’t just betraying Victor.
He was selling him—to federal agents.
The bomb wasn’t just assassination.
It was cleanup.
Victor exhaled slowly.

“Prepare the harbor,” he said.
“It ends tonight.”
