BREAKING: Trump Claims U.S. “Destroyed All Military Targets” on Iran’s Kharg Island — Tehran Says Oil Sites Still Operating

In a dramatic escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Donald Trump has declared that U.S. forces have “completely wiped out” all military targets on Iran’s strategic Kharg Island.

The announcement follows a large-scale wave of airstrikes that targeted key Iranian military infrastructure on the island, which plays a crucial role in regional security and global energy supply.

According to U.S. officials, the operation involved precision strikes on more than 90 military sites, including missile storage facilities, naval mine depots, and other strategic assets.

The strikes are part of a broader campaign aimed at weakening Iran’s ability to disrupt shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway responsible for roughly 20% of the world’s oil transport.

Trump described the attack as one of the most powerful military actions in recent history, emphasizing that every intended military target had been successfully neutralized.

However, he also noted that U.S. forces deliberately avoided hitting oil infrastructure on the island—at least for now—suggesting that such targets could be considered in future operations if tensions escalate further.

Tehran, however, has pushed back strongly against these claims. Iranian officials confirmed that multiple explosions were heard across Kharg Island during the strikes, with reports indicating more than 15 separate blasts.

Despite this, authorities insist that critical oil facilities remain intact and fully operational, continuing to export crude without major disruption.
