The room fell silent the moment Arthur spoke.
“Get your hands off her.”
His voice wasn’t loud—but it didn’t need to be. Authority radiated from him like a force no one dared challenge.
The woman in red slowly stepped back, her composure cracking despite her effort to maintain it.

On the hospital bed, Elena trembled, her fingers gripping the sheets as another wave of pain hit her. A soft cry escaped her lips.
Arthur moved instantly.
His entire demeanor shifted as he approached her—gentle, controlled, protective.
“I’m here,” he said quietly, kneeling beside her. “You’re safe now.”
Tears streamed down Elena’s face. “You weren’t supposed to find out like this…”
Arthur’s jaw tightened. “Find out what?”
Before she could answer, a nurse finally rushed forward.
“She’s in active labor. We need to proceed now.”
Arthur stood, his presence commanding the room again.
“Then do your job. And no one else interferes.”
