The courthouse is silent except for the echo of footsteps.
Michael stands on one side with Emily holding the twins. On the other, Ashley sits perfectly composed, her confidence carefully rebuilt overnight.
The evidence is presented piece by piece.
Emails. Financial trails. Witness statements.
Then the final blow: a recorded confession from one of Ashley’s former associates confirming the manipulation.
Ashley’s expression finally cracks.
The judge reviews everything in silence… then speaks.
“The court recognizes deliberate interference and fraud. Custody and all claims filed by Ms. Carter are dismissed.”
A long pause.
