Across every time zone, executives were being pulled from sleep, from dinners, from private jets. Legal teams were logging in remotely. The company’s secure servers flickered as access permissions began to shift.

Authorities transferred.

By 12:17 AM, Marcus tried to override the system.
“Access denied.”
He frowned.
