PART 7 — The Foundation

The idea didn’t come to me as inspiration.

It came as a responsibility.

Too many women had sat where I once sat—calculating risk, minimizing pain, justifying survival. Too many had been told that endurance was virtue.

I refused to let that narrative continue unchecked.

Within six months, I converted one of my unused properties into a legal and financial advocacy center.

No press release.
No ribbon-cutting ceremony.
No branding campaign.

Just a door.

And inside that door: attorneys, therapists, financial advisors, and most importantly—silence without judgment.

We didn’t ask, “Why didn’t you leave?”

We asked, “What do you need right now?”

The first woman who walked through that door didn’t look at me.

But when she left, she stood a little straighter.

That was enough.
