CHAPTER 3: The Fall of Isabella Rossi

By midnight, everything unraveled.

The board received emails.

Contracts were frozen.

Accounts flagged.

And Isabella’s name—

began disappearing from every powerful place she once stood.

In the hospital hallway, she finally lost her composure.

“You can’t do this to me!” she shouted as security blocked her path. “You need me! Your investors—your connections—”

Marcus didn’t even slow down.

“You were never indispensable,” he said flatly.

Dr. Hale stepped forward.

“And you assaulted a pregnant woman,” he added. “In my hospital.”

Isabella’s breathing grew uneven.

“This isn’t over,” she hissed.

Marcus finally stopped.

Turned.

And looked at her one last time.

“No,” he said.

“It is.”

Security escorted her away—

May you like

her heels no longer echoing confidence…

but collapse.
