Chapter 3: Healing and Hope

Weeks passed.
The girl’s recovery was slow, but steady. This time, she was surrounded by care, patience, and understanding.
Her mother never left her side.
Physical therapy sessions replaced fear with progress. Each small step she took became a victory—one celebrated with smiles instead of doubt.
One afternoon, the doctor visited during her therapy session.
“Well, look at you,” he said with a warm smile. “You’re getting stronger every day.”
The girl beamed. “It still hurts sometimes… but not like before.”
“That’s because now,” he replied, “you’re healing the right way.”
Her mother stood nearby, her eyes filled with gratitude. “Thank you… for stepping in when no one else did.”
The doctor shook his head gently. “She deserved to be heard.”
Across the room, the girl took another careful step forward—this time without fear.
Her bunny rested on a nearby chair, no longer needed as tightly as before.
Because now, she wasn’t alone anymore.
And for the first time in a long time, her world felt safe.

The past had been painful—but it no longer defined her.
What defined her now… was strength, love, and a future full of hope.
