The rain did not stop.

Her sons clung tighter.
“Mama… where do we go?” the older one whispered, his voice trembling.
Elena swallowed her pain. She could not break—not now.
“We move forward,” she said, her voice shaking but firm. “We always move forward.”
With nowhere else to go, she gathered what little dignity she had left, picked up the soaked suitcases, and walked into the storm—each step carrying her away from the life she once knew.
