Chapter 1: The Collapse Begins

The moment the doors closed behind Isabella, chaos erupted inside the mansion.

Lucas’s hands trembled as he refreshed his banking app for the tenth time. Every number he had trusted—every figure that defined his power—was gone.

“Frozen… all of it?” Sophie whispered, her voice cracking.

Richard slammed his fist against the table. “Call legal! Call everyone!”

“I already did!” Lucas snapped. “No one is answering!”

From the doorway, Helen stood frozen, her usual arrogance replaced with fear. “This… this is impossible. We built everything!”

Lucas let out a hollow laugh. “No,” he said slowly. “Apparently… we didn’t.”

Meanwhile, outside, Isabella stepped into the car without looking back.

“Status?” she asked calmly.

Her assistant handed her a tablet. “Board members are aligned. Emergency session initiated. Your vote secures full executive control.”

Isabella nodded.

“Good,” she said.
