The wooden box clicked open on its own.

Inside was no treasure.

Just a photograph… and a key.

The photo was old, its edges worn. It showed a young woman standing in front of the very same vault—smiling, holding a baby wrapped in a pink cloth.

The crowd gasped.

The girl stared at the image, her fingers shaking.

The grey-suited man stepped back. “That’s not possible. That photo is decades old.”

The bank manager collapsed into a chair.

“Elara Vance built this vault,” he said weakly. “She designed it herself. A genius. But one day, she disappeared… and everything tied to her was sealed away.”

The girl lifted the small key from the box.
