The following morning, Julian’s encrypted phone buzzed. It was Vance.

"Got 'em, boss," Vance’s gravelly voice crackled through the speaker.

The malware had pinged the moment Mara's flash drive connected to an external network. The IP address led straight to a heavily encrypted private server.

We have his entire digital ledger. He’s been moving your stolen corporate funds through a series of shell companies in the Caymans."

Julian tightened his grip on the phone, a fierce sense of vindication washing over him. "Bundle the evidence. Send everything to the FBI's financial crimes division. And Vance? Prepare the executive boardroom. It's time to end this."
