Marcus’s lawyers shouted immediate objections, but before they could strategize, the boardroom doors opened again. Two federal agents stepped inside. Vance had delivered the complete digital ledger to the FBI hours ago. The agents swiftly placed Marcus in handcuffs, completely ignoring his loud, desperate threats of litigation.
Mara rushed toward Julian, crocodile tears streaming down her face. She pleaded for forgiveness, frantically claiming Marcus had blackmailed her into the scheme. Julian stepped back, his expression completely unmoved. The digital evidence clearly showed she was a willing partner, aggressively securing massive offshore payouts in her own name. As the agents escorted a sobbing Mara out of the room, Julian turned back to his executives. His voice was calm and steady as he assured the board that the threat was neutralized and the company’s assets were secure.
