That night, Evelyn called again.
“There’s been movement,” she said. “Someone is trying to acquire minority shares aggressively.”
“Who?”
Silence.
Then—
“Your father.”
I let out a slow breath.
Of course.
He wasn’t done.
He never would be.
“He’s using shell companies,” Evelyn continued. “Trying to regain control quietly.”
