Victor pressed a button.

Another angle appeared.

Then another.

There was nowhere left to hide.

Marcus finally turned to her.

Not with anger.

That would have been mercy.

He looked at her like she no longer existed.

“You planned this,” he said.

It wasn’t a question.

Isabella swallowed hard. “I— I was protecting you. She’s weak. She—”

“She’s carrying my child.”

The words landed like a verdict.

“And you tried to kill them both.”

Security stepped forward.

Isabella backed away, panic breaking through her polished exterior.

“You don’t understand who I am,” she snapped. “My family—”

“—won’t save you,” Victor interrupted calmly.

Outside, sirens began to echo.

Not just one.

Multiple.

Because Victor Hale didn’t make small calls.

By the time the police entered the suite, Isabella Rossi was no longer a socialite.

She was a suspect.
