Chapter 5: A New Beginning

Spring arrived gently that year.
The garden bloomed again, as if time itself had decided to offer a second chance.
Eleanor and Sofia stood side by side beneath the sunlight, the emerald necklace glimmering softly at Sofia’s neck.
“I used to think finding you would fix everything,” Eleanor said.
Sofia smiled. “It didn’t fix everything.”
“No,” Eleanor admitted. “But it gave us something better. The truth.”
Sofia reached for her hand.
“For the first time,” she said, “I feel like my life belongs to me.”
Eleanor squeezed her hand gently. “And you’ll never lose it again.”

They symbolized something far greater—
A love that had been lost, hidden, and finally… found again.
