CHAPTER 3 — “What Was Never Lost”

Weeks later.

The villa garden was the same place—but everything felt different.

White roses swayed gently in the morning wind. No champagne laughter. No judgmental stares.

Only quiet peace.

The Pregnant Woman stood barefoot on the grass, holding her belly, watching the sunrise.

The Powerful Man came up behind her, placing the same hand—now familiar, steady—on her shoulder.

“She’ll be here soon,” he said softly.

She nodded.

“I used to think I lost everything,” she replied.

A pause.

“But I didn’t.”

He turned her gently toward him.

“No,” he agreed. “You were just waiting for the truth to find its way back.”

Behind them, the Blonde Socialite appeared at a distance.

No diamonds. No arrogance. Just a simple dress.

She didn’t interrupt.

She only watched for a moment
 then lowered her head.

And slowly walked away from the villa gates.

Not defeated.

Changed.

The wind moved through the garden.

The Pregnant Woman leaned into the Powerful Man’s shoulder, finally still.

And for the first time in years, nothing felt missing.

FADE OUT.
