Three days later, Jasper was summoned to a board meeting.
Except… it wasn’t his board anymore.
The room was filled with unfamiliar faces.
At the head of the table—
Finnley Robertson.
Jasper’s throat went dry.
“You built your company on access you never earned,” Finnley said calmly.
“You mistreated my daughter while benefiting from her silence.”
Jasper tried to speak. “Sir, I didn’t know—”
“That,” Finnley interrupted, “is exactly the problem.”
A document slid across the table.
Termination.
Asset liquidation.
Full removal from his own company.
Effective immediately.
“You didn’t lose your future today,” Finnley added coldly.
“You destroyed it the moment you decided my daughter was disposable.”
Security stepped forward.
Jasper didn’t resist.
He couldn’t.
