“Where did you get this?”
The silver-haired man’s voice was calm—but it carried a weight that silenced everyone.
The husband’s phone slipped slightly in his hand, still recording, but now trembling.
“I—I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he stammered.
The older man didn’t respond. He flipped through the scattered documents, his sharp eyes scanning every page. His expression darkened with each second.
Then he looked at the pregnant woman.
“Did you bring these?”
She winced in pain, clutching her stomach, but managed a faint nod.
“I… I was going to leave today,” she whispered. “I couldn’t stay anymore.”
The man’s jaw tightened.
Behind him, two men in black suits stepped out of the Rolls-Royce.
