Marcus sat alone in a dim office across town—one that didn’t belong to him, filled with lawyers who no longer worked for him.
“They’ve taken everything,” he muttered.
“Not everything,” one attorney replied carefully.
“You still have your name.”
Marcus laughed bitterly.
“What is that worth now?”
Across the city, Isabella sat at the head of a long table.
Executives. Investors. Board members.
All watching her.
Waiting.
“Effective immediately,” she said calmly, “we will restructure Castle Hospitality under a new leadership model.”
No hesitation.
No revenge-driven chaos.
Only precision.
Someone asked, “And Marcus?”
She paused.
Not out of doubt.
Out of decision.
“He will not be destroyed,” she said.
“He will be removed.”
