No spectacle.
Just people.
Teachers. Nurses. Families. Survivors.
And stories.
Real ones.
Nathan joined her at the edge of the room.
“You changed everything,” he said quietly.
Leah shook her head.
“No,” she replied.
“I just refused to ignore what was already broken.”
Nathan smiled.
“That’s exactly what changes everything.”
Across the room, Margaret stood speaking with a group of guests—warm, simple, unassuming.
