The room erupted.

Guests whispered, some shocked, others quietly impressed.

Andrew rushed forward. “Clara, wait! I can fix this—we can fix this!”

She turned, her expression no longer cold—but clear.

“No, Andrew. You had one moment to choose me.”

A long pause.

“And you didn’t.”

Patricia tried one last time. “You’re making a mistake. No man will accept a woman like you—so proud, so cold!”

Clara smiled faintly.

“Then I’ll remain exactly as I am.”

Security stepped forward—not aggressively, but firmly.

At Clara’s quiet nod, they approached Patricia and Andrew.

“Please escort them out,” the manager said politely.

The same ballroom that had welcomed them as honored guests…

Now watched them leave in silence.
