Chapter 7: The Whistleblower
Julian wasted no time. He tracked down Arthur Davies, the family’s long-time corporate attorney, cornering him in the underground garage of his luxury condo.
Julian tossed the manila folder onto the hood of Davies' Porsche. The forged financial ledgers spilled out.
"You have one chance, Arthur," Julian said coldly, stepping into the lawyer's personal space. "You forged these embezzlement records. You helped my mother plan my wife's ruin. When I hand this to the DA, you lose your license and die in federal prison."
Davies turned pale, his hands trembling as he looked at the evidence. The loyalty bought by Eleanor’s money evaporated instantly.
