While Marcus and Eleanor focused on winning the court of public opinion, Arthur was quietly securing the court of law. The data dump Evelyn had provided was damning, but to guarantee a criminal conviction, they needed internal corroboration. They needed a witness.
The breakthrough came late on a Tuesday evening. Arthur received a heavily encrypted message on a secure channel, requesting an off-the-books meeting at a quiet diner outside the city limits. When Arthur arrived, he found the young corporate associate who had been sitting at the dinner table the night of the incident. The young man looked exhausted, his shoulders slumped with guilt and fear.
