Arrests began within days.

Big ones.
Untouchable ones.

Lily stood outside the courthouse as cameras flashed around her.
“Do you feel justice has been served?” a reporter shouted.
She paused.
Thought carefully.
Then answered.
“Justice isn’t a moment,” she said. “It’s a process. And we’re finally at the beginning.”
Arthur watched from a distance.
Pride wasn’t something he expressed easily.
But it was there.
Clear in his eyes.
Later that evening, they returned home.
No black SUVs.
No shadows.
Just silence.
