Two weeks passed since the dramatic confrontation at Oakridge Academy.
The local news had heavily covered the shocking arrest of billionaire Richard Sterling.
His blatant bribery scandal had rocked the wealthy foundations of the elite private school.
The terrified school board was forced to implement sweeping anti-bullying policies immediately.
Principal Evans had quietly packed up her office the very next morning without a fight.
A new interim principal, a stern but exceptionally fair educator named Mr. Harrison, took over the administration.
Today was Lily's first day back to class since the terrible incident on the stairs.
Her arm was no longer in a sling, though she wore a small protective brace around her wrist.
Sarah held her daughter's hand tightly as they walked right up to the front iron gates.

Several wealthy parents whispered quietly as the undercover FBI agent walked past them.
They looked at Sarah with a complex mixture of deep respect and lingering awe.
Mr. Harrison stood by the heavy main glass doors, greeting the arriving students personally.
He offered a warm, reassuring smile as Sarah and Lily approached the entrance.
"Welcome back, Lily," Mr. Harrison said with absolute, genuine kindness.
"We have made sure everything is perfectly safe and ready for you," he assured the little girl.
Lily looked up at the tall man and offered a shy, polite nod.
Sarah reached out and firmly shook the new principal's hand.
"I expect this high standard to be maintained for every single child here," Sarah stated clearly.
"You have my absolute word on that, Agent Hayes," Mr. Harrison promised without hesitation.
Sarah knelt down to give her daughter one final, tight hug.
"Have a great day, my brave girl," she whispered gently into Lily's ear.
Lily hugged her mother back with a beautiful, newfound confidence.

Sarah watched her daughter walk safely through the doors, knowing the battle was finally and truly won.
