Julian returned to the side room, offering Sarah a reassuring nod. "It's handled. She's in custody," he said quietly.
He turned to Leo. A groomsman stepped forward and slipped off his own black suit jacket, draping it over Leo's shoulders. The oversized coat completely hid the dark red wine stain. "Ready to finish this, best man?" Julian asked.

They walked back into the grand ballroom. The guests sat in stunned, anxious silence, but as the string quartet began playing again, the tension broke. Sarah and Julian stood at the altar, their hands tightly locked. They exchanged their vows with a fierce, unwavering focus. When the officiant finally pronounced them husband and wife, the applause was deafening. The marriage was official. Eleanor’s financial control was permanently broken.
