"It ceased to be a private matter when you used corporate funds to bribe the notary," James countered smoothly. He clicked to the next slide, revealing bank transfers from the company's charity fund directly to Eleanor's private accounts.
The room erupted. Board members who had cowered before Eleanor for decades were now staring at her in disgust.
"This is embezzlement, fraud, and corporate sabotage," James said, turning his cold gaze to his mother. "I have already forwarded these files to the district attorney. You are removed from the board, stripped of your shares, and banned from these premises."
